Eva and Borchert: An Encounter with Two Silent Observers

In front of Frankenberg Castle stand two figures who seem to casually draw you into their conversation. The artist Karl Bobek created the sculpture group in 1978 and incorporated it into his project *Straße*. Eva and Borchert appear as if they have frozen a moment of their conversation, while you, as a passerby, inevitably become part of the scene. Their quiet presence lends the square a special atmosphere and invites you to interpret the relationship between the two. Between the historic castle backdrop and modern art, a place emerges where past and present quietly converse with one another.
