Amid the ruins of an ancient amphitheater lives Momo, an orphaned girl. She has nothing but a big heart and a very special gift: Momo listens to people. In a world where many are trapped in the daily grind of their smartphones, she fosters genuine connections. This makes people feel understood and helps them discover new ways to bring about change. But one day, the mysterious gray gentlemen appear in the city. They work for the “Time Savings Bank” and persuade people to hand over their precious lifetime to them. Little by little, everyone becomes busier, colder, and more joyless. Even Momo’s friends no longer have any time. That’s when Momo realizes the danger posed by the gray time thieves. To outwit the gang, Momo seeks out the mysterious Master Hora, the Guardian of Time. Together, they want to return people’s stolen time to them.
