In June 2026, you can experience the most famous love story of all time as a unique summer musical at Burg Wilhelmstein. "Romeo & Juliet – the Pop-Rock Musical" tells Shakespeare's romantic and tragic story in a special way. Here, historical costumes and language meet powerful modern rock and pop songs.

A summer in 16th-century Verona. At a masked ball, the melancholic Romeo and the lively Juliet meet and fall in love. But their families, the Montagues and the Capulets, are enemies. After their secret wedding, the conflict escalates and Romeo is banished. In order to flee with her lover, Juliet fakes her death. But then everything turns out differently than expected.

Experience moving emotions with the powerful ensemble of DAS DA THEATER, accompanied live every evening by the DAS DA band. This reinterpretation of William Shakespeare's world-famous drama builds a bridge between the past and the present, as it tells of timeless themes such as love, loss, and reconciliation.
