Aachen Horse Show – a scene brimming with power and childlike imagination
At the end of Kockerellstraße, you’ll come across a sculpture that captures the moment of childhood play. Four boys form two pairs, with one carrying the other on his shoulders as they playfully compete. The sculptor Karl-Henning Seemann designed this group of figures to make the tension of the moment visible. Their bodies lean forward, hands reaching for balance and support, as if the game were about to continue at any moment. The scene depicts a familiar motif, one that many recognize from their own childhood, and serves as a quiet echo of the vibrant history of the small streets and squares in the heart of Aachen.
