In keeping with Veganuary, we took a look around our beautiful city and would like to introduce you to a few restaurants where you are guaranteed to find delicious vegan dishes on the menu.
The Katzencafé Aachen
The Milou Cat Café is reminiscent of a cozy living room, with soft, relaxing music playing in the background and a red cat lounging on the sofa.
In this cozy atmosphere, you can enjoy a delicious piece of cake, a snack, or a bowl of soup —all vegan, of course. The café offers a chance to escape everyday life and pet a cat while enjoying a delicious cup of cocoa.

Two great restaurants await you at Mayersche Buchhandlung.
Loft & Garden Café
If you're looking for a fantastic rooftop terrace that makes you feel like you're no longer in the city, this is the place for you. In addition to delicious vegan salads and fresh sandwiches, you can also enjoy other vegan dishes such as a delicious vegetable curry with rice, coriander, and mint.
Gutenberg Café
And if you prefer to watch the world go by while you enjoy your meal or coffee, you can visit Café Gutenberg on the ground floor of Mayersche Buchhandlung. Here, you can enjoy delicious hot chocolate and tarte flambée with colorful vegetables.
And best of all, you can take a little shopping trip through the bookstore before or after and fill your bookshelf with new treasures.
Ferber's Park Café
Not far from Aachen city center, in the beautiful district of Burtscheid, we find ferbers. Located right next to the park, you can not only enjoy a vegan breakfast, but also brunch, lunch, and dinner.
End the day with a delicious serving of spaghetti with spicy marinated tofu, sugar snap peas, and sesame seeds, accompanied by homemade lemonade. Before or after your meal, take a short stroll through Ferberpark.
Madame Tam
Also in Burtscheid, not far from our last stop, we find Madame Tam. There, delicious Vietnamese food is served in a cozy, modern, and chic atmosphere. There is a complete menu with vegan dishes, which includes crispy spring rolls, rice noodle dishes, and rice dishes. There is definitely something for everyone here.

Pfannenzauber is one of the most famous vegan restaurants in Aachen, which is an absolute must on our vegan culinary journey. There, you can order anything you fancy from the menu in a rustic, modern atmosphere, guaranteed to be vegan. In addition to the regular menu, you will always find changing seasonal dishes that invite you to try something new. You can also take part in a clothing swap or one of the regulars' tables.
L'Osteria in the old Posthof
L'Osteria also offers an increasing number of dishes that are vegan or can be ordered as vegan. Here you can enjoy salads, pizza, and pasta made entirely without animal products in a modern, cozy, and definitely unique atmosphere.
Enjoy fresh pizza bread with tomatoes and basil, a pizza rustica with olives, red onions, and vegan pizza cheese, accompanied by a delicious cocktail.
Mama Tai
And if you prefer Thai food to Italian, Mama Tai is the place for you. Here you'll find a menu full of vegan delights, from dumplings to delicious Buddha bowls and mochi —no wish left unfulfilled.
Mama Tai is the perfect place for anyone who loves plant-based cuisine or wants to try it without sacrificing variety. What's particularly nice is that the restaurant is ideal for meeting up with friends, raising a glass together, and starting the evening in a relaxed atmosphere —before heading on to Pontstraße later on.
